Ubuntu is everywhere! Do you agree? I didn't say this, but the users do. Even Microsoft loves Linux, and it brings Ubuntu to its upcoming Windows 10 release.

Canonical team is celebrating the upcoming release of Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. The final stable version of Ubuntu 16.04 is due for April 21. It's just couple of days ahead. Before the final release, the Ubuntu team wants to shed some light on how many people in the world actually use Ubuntu.

According to a blog post from Ubuntu,

As users aren’t required to register their installation, devices are pre-loaded with the software and servers powered by Ubuntu – this means it’s not as easy to track users. However the reality is, hundreds of millions of  PCs, servers, devices, virtual machines, and containers have booted Ubuntu to date and are in use!

Based on the blog post of Dustin Kirkland, Canonical's Ubuntu Product and Strategy team, the Ubuntu development team has made a nice infographic that shows the usage of Ubuntu operating system.
